Each Monday - 6:30 pm - Starlight Family Storytime at the Library - come in your jammies - no registration needed, Enjoy book readings, music, and activities that foster a love of books. 

Each Tuesday - 11 am - Preschool Storytime at the Librarysame as above, for pre-school children -

3rd Wednesday each month - 6 pm - Wii Game Night at the Library,  Super Mario, Sports, Guitar Hero,  large 6x8’ screen, age 7-14

Sat. Apr 2 – 10 am to 4 pm – Point of Rocks goes to the new Visitors Center for Frederick County   151 S. East St. Frederick, MD – come see the huge wall mural that depicts Point of Rocks in the 1930s (not an exact duplicate of any photos, but an artist interpretation to get all the elements that POR offers for transportation history for the County).  www.

Sat. Apr 2 – noon – 3 pm – Open House – Point of Rocks Fervency Lodge #200 A.E. & A.M.  (MD Rt 28) 3729 Clay St. in old town Point of Rocks.  Come and see the lodge, learn their history, and find out what they are doing today – see the historic 1898 building.

Sat. May 30 – C&O Canal Assoc. Justice Douglas Reunion Hike  - White’s Ferry to Point of Rocks, bus leaves Whites Ferry 10 am and drop off at various points as far as Point of Rocks – to walk back in groups to the cars.  Cost of bus $7 same day, $5 in advance.  Dinner following hike in Potomac, MD www.candocanal.org
